For the first time this morning, I found the video button on my phone! I always knew it was there, but I am fairly photo-oriented, so it never occurred to me to take a video. I was sitting at my desk and getting ready for my morning meditation with the Goddess Cards. The light was coming through the window so beautifully and as I pulled the cards, I decided to try a video. What fun!
Holding the intention of what Goddesses were needed to get through this week for all of us, I pulled three cards.
Lakshmi – The New Moon happened just after midnight and with the Sun and Moon in Taurus, Venus was ruling the energies. Lakshmi is the Hindu Goddess of love, attraction, prosperity, abundance, and beauty. She is really determined to get my attention, because She came up yesterday in my New Moon Meditation and Venus Goddess Grid. This week is all about the heart with both Lakshmi and Kuan Yin reminding us that leading with our hearts is important with Mercury Retrograde confusion and frustration possible. Before reacting, breathe. Think of Lakshmi and Kuan Yin. Then respond with an open heart and a healthy dose of Goddess Love. This is not foolproof, but may slow you down a bit – another theme for the New Moon!
Nut – Egyptian Goddess Nut is the Cosmic Mother. Her body is the Milky Way and Her belly is full of stars. Each night She swallows the sun and gives birth to him again in the morning. Rebirth is the message. Take advantage of Mercury Retrograde do-overs to examine what may need to be edited or redone. Nut gives us the big picture – could it get any bigger? Step back and look at things from a larger perspective. Planning, editing, and organizing are all great activities for this week!
Kuan Yin – Ahhhh Kuan Yin. She is the embodiment of love, kindness, and compassion. She reminds us not only to be kind and compassionate to others but to our Selves as well. For those moments of sadness, grief, turmoil, anxiety, we can always turn to Kuan Yin for open arms and a flow of unconditional love and understanding. She is the healing balm for your week. Where do you need that flow of love and compassion? Ask Kuan Yin to be with you in the difficult moments this week and to direct Her unending energy where you need it. Chant Her mantra for energetic relief anytime.
Wishing you a wonderful week and lots of heart-centered Goddess energy!
This Goddess Altar in the video is the one that sits to the left of my desk. I laid out the cards on the altar and did a quick video peek of my treasures. Ancient Mother is one of my go-to meditations … the chanting of the Goddess names is soothing and uplifting! Blessings to all of you! Thank you for allowing me to share a peek into the Goddesses in my space!
