Summer is here and after a long, snowy winter, everyone is ready to jump into summer celebrations with both feet! Enthusiasm is admirable but sometimes the results are not, especially in summer with the hot sun, mosquitoes, bees, heat reactions, and increased sun exposure.
Beauty Bliss to the rescue! Essential oils are the perfect antidote to summer’s challenges, plus I added a few suggestions for nourishing your skin at the bottom. Since I live in South Florida, it is like summer all year here and these tips have saved my hide (literally!).
Another summer favorite of mine is liquid Aloe Vera and Aloe Vera gel. You can find it at most health stores or Whole Foods. I keep it in the refrigerator for cool and soothing relief for sunburn and rashes. Sometimes, I add a few drops of essential oils since Aloe Vera can be a great carrier.
Most importantly – don’t forget your sun screen!
Wishing you all a fantastic summer!
